Cooper has come to stay for the weekend! Cooper is a Cocker Spaniel who reminds me of Logan, the Cocker I had growing up, in the sense that he is always nose to the ground and also a walking stomach. The difference is that Cooper is a lap dog, literally. He is currently cuddled on my lap, and he’s been here since we got home from our walk.
We started the day off with Santa photos, taken by my friend Jen who is a fabulous photographer. When I get my jpeg I will post a copy here.
Hailey brought Monster and Dennis over, and we had Ohso as well, so we took all six dogs for a lovely walk on the dyke. Hailey has recently moved to Surrey so her dogs are not getting the same off leash experience as they were when they lived here. Dennis and Monster clearly enjoyed themselves immensely with all the running running running!
Look at that face!
Justice came to stay over Halloween. That meant that I had three dogs who were terrified of the firecrackers, rather than two. But we made it through, and the following day I took the dogs for a long off leash walk on the dyke in Mission. I have no science to back up this theory but since I know that stress hormones can stay circulating in the body for two weeks or more after a traumatic event, I feel that getting exercise and releasing some happy endorphins must help to counteract those stress ones.
Justice has the zoomies!
There were many outtakes before I finally got a shot where at least my two dogs are looking at the camera!
Halloween is here and therefore it is the time to stuff our dogs into costumes and take photos of them!
I give you Bosco as a pretty flower:
